Issue Position

We have seen some recent job growth in our state, but here in Central Massachusetts we are still subject to a lagging economy. We continue to witness businesses close down or move out of state because of crippling taxes and increased regulations. For those of us who are employed, we have seen our salaries stay stagnant while our commutes get longer and more and more costly. Our companies only need one thing to grow, and it is the one thing that our legislature fails to provide -- stability.

I will work diligently to bring back the days when employers competed to hire our workforce instead of dragging their feet over each new job posting. I am committed to work alongside local business owners to provide them the means to be more successful and to help get our community back to work. I will fight to reduce taxes and regulations on our valuable job creators -- entrepreneurs, small and medium sized business owner.
